Apparel & Footwear – Managing a major transformation program while implementing SAP at one of the global players. Transformation meant to change the way of doing business, establishing new operational and fulfilment processes, including but not limited to new logistic concepts, a new way of collaborating between customer and supplier and a new approach of merchandise planning and management. We delivered the overall project management and key core functional resources to design and implement the future processes.
PRODUCT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT
Apparel & Footwear – Based on a “make” decision we designed and managed the development of a best fitting PLM-system which could be implemented on a global scale with 1.200 users in time and quality. A faster and more flexible as well as interactive product development was the result for this global sports brand. Customer centricity - from strategy to impact in 2 years. All merchandise areas from apparel to footwear as well as accessories have been migrated and are now happy to work with the new PLM.
NEW SUPPLY CHAIN ORGANIZATION
Apparel & Footwear – After a merger and acquisition process at a retail brand it was planned to drive efficiency by selling the warehouse in an outsourcing project, harmonizing IT and processes as well as consolidating the supply chain organization in the Group. While implementing the software architecture and processes of the daughter at the mother company the know-how has to be transferred from Germany to the headquarter of the group in the Netherlands as well to the sourcing office in Switzerland. As program and interims manager we supported the group by achieving the objectives and setting-up a new supply chain organisation while the customer experienced a stable service level.
TRANSFORMATION AT A GLOBAL PLAYER
Apparel & Footwear – Managing a major transformation program while implementing SAP at one of the global players. Transformation meant to change the way of doing business, establishing new operational and fulfilment processes, including but not limited to new logistic concepts, a new way of collaborating between customer and supplier and a new approach of merchandise planning and management. We delivered the overall program management with full budget and delivery responsibility.
SYSTEM INTEGRATOR FOR SAP
Apparel & Footwear - Managing a major transformation project while implementing SAP, acting as a system integrator. The project ensured the further aggressive international expansion (various currencies, languages and storage functionalities) and the development of an Omni-channel business plan: retail, concessions, franchise, wholesale and e-commerce connected while it ensured the scalability of the business model (# of brands, distribution channels, etc.) and gave transparency of the value and quantity flow over the entire life cycle of the products.
We delivered the project management for about 30 SAP consultants, the structured analysis of requirements and development of a comprehensive and integrated process model plus the Quality - & Change Management.
DEVELOPMENT OF PLANNING PROCESS
Apparel & Footwear - Development of best practice based integrated planning processes and organizational design. Identification of the best suited solution for the goods and the assortment by definition of new processes for planning, OTB, allocation and forecasts across all channels. We delivered the project alignment according to corporate strategy and IT architecture with full cost-benefit transparency. Doing so, our activities did include project Management, requirement analysis and conception, business Case & Budgeting, market research, a comprehensive software evaluation incl. an implementation approach and the negotiation & conclusion of contract with the future solution provider.
