Our Transformation Excellence onboarding process is designed to integrate you quickly and easily into our team and to give you "tools to succeed" in your job as a consultant for the long term. 

Our 4 C’s of successful Onboardings:  

We see ourselves as expertise and personality developers. 

In a 12-month training on / off the job, you will receive the necessary tools for a successful consulting career. According to our motto: "GIVE TRUST. RECOGNIZE POTENTIAL. STRENGTHEN TALENTS." we work together on your professional and personal development and support you on your way. 

For this purpose, we combine "learning by doing" with individual trainings - adapted to your needs and level of knowledge. 

Clearly defined goals and expectations create transparency and motivation. Agreements on objectives and their regular review in constructive feedback sessions are therefore an integral part of your training program. 

As a member of our consulting team, you will work independently on the strategic challenges of our customers after a short training period and benefit from our experience, established methodologies and procedures. At the same time, we promote and challenge your competence development on all levels - methodically, professionally and socially. 

The entry-level position depends on your professional experience.

A typical career path at Transformation Excellence:

Associate: Entry level position for Master's graduates;

Supporting function with delimited project modules

Consultant: After about 2-3 years as an Associate or relevant work experience;

Independent project module responsibility

Senior-Consultant: After about 2-3 years as Consultant;
Assumption of project responsibility, establishment of client relationship

Manager: After 2-3 years as a successful Senior Consultant;

Establishment and expansion of client relationships, project responsibility, acquisition and overall management of several projects, business development

Partner: After 2-3 years as proven Manager;
Maintaining and intensification of client relationships, business management, overall management of multiple projects at top management level, sales & revenue responsibility

  • How does the application process look like?
    Your application documents, including a detailed CV, complete references and a letter of motivation, should be sent by e-mail to After receipt of your documents, you will receive a response within one week. This will be followed by a telephone interview and then an interview. Again, you will usually receive feedback within a week. Your start with us will be arranged individually.
  • What makes a consultant's day?
    Our day-to-day work as consultants is one thing above all: varying. Working days and tasks differ depending on the project and the customer. Flexibility is therefore required and demanded. Nevertheless, there are tasks that are typical for a consulting day: Project management, strategy planning, telephone/video conferences, workshops, preparing and following up meetings, requirements engineering and stakeholder management. As stressful as the job as a consultant can be at peak times, work-life balance is a high priority for us. After busy assignments, we consciously reduce our workload to have enough time for private life and hobbies and to "recharge our batteries regularly."
  • What skills are necessary as a consultant?
    What makes us successful as consultants are strong communication skills, team spirit, and excellent analytical and strategic skills. Other important qualities are empathy, a quick grasp of the subject, high self-motivation, and joy and enthusiasm for lifelong learning.
  • What job entry opportunities does Transformation Excellence offer?
    The entry-level position depends on your professional experience. University graduates with a successful Master's degree start with us as an Associate. With 2-3 years of professional experience in retail or industry, ideally as a management consultant, you can start as a consultant, with 3-5 years as a senior consultant. No matter at which position you start with us, our goal is to accompany you professionally on your career path and to prepare you optimally for the next career step.
  • Is English spoken in everyday working life?
    Our internal company language is German. When communicating with internationally active customers, excellent written and spoken English is a matter of course.
